Panther Pride Marching Band

New Band Director

I am pleased to introduce our new Band Director Mr. Nick Stanley. Nick is an alumnus of Pasquotank and has been interning with the band since he graduated. Nick has recently completed his Bachelors of Music in Music Education at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. Mr. Stanley completed his student teaching with Bryan Castro at Hope Middle School in Greenville, and Chris Whitehurst in Camden High School in Camden, NC. Mr. Stanley is very excited to be beginning his career at his Alma Mater. A formal introduction will be made at the parent performance on August 2nd at Noon in the PCHS stadium.

I will remain in charge as director through the end of band camp. Mr. Stanley who was already hired as a brass instructor for band camp will work hand in hand with me the next few weeks as we begin his transition in as the new director following band camp. His first day of work with the district will be Aug. 5th.

Please join me in giving him a warm Pasquotank welcome! As a former student of mine I take great pride in handing over the reigns of this great program. He has our students best interests at heart and will make a great asset to this band program and this school.

-Mr. John Russell
